Extended training

Updated: 4 days ago

As the puppy pandemic craziness subsided, there's definitely been a slow down across the board with puppy sales. This means we have older doodles & have more time to work with them one on one & with their siblings. It's been a definite shift in our household as well as

with other doodle breeders. This is great for you as a future owner, as the puppies have more time with momma & siblings, as well as additional socialization. Since all of the puppies are in our home 24/7, we are able to constantly work with them & teach them house manners, as well as potty training. Working with them like this really helps them more easily integrate into your home when you bring them home. Australian labradoodle breeders NC

Lately, we've been working on:

  • crate training for short periods of time during the day & not just at night

  • learning the command off - especially when it comes to furniture & people

  • having our first puppy haircuts (to get them used to being handled for haircuts & more socialization outside of home)

  • short visits to other places (Lowe's hardware, Starbucks, Dunkin)

  • walks in different areas (neighborhood, Croatan forest)

  • spending time around a variety of people

  • schedule of time to play outside & inside as well as crate time to rest

  • exposure to fun rainy weather after a dry, dry summer!

Fall's a great time to bring a new baby home! You can bring them for a pumpkin spice latte, to the pumpkin patch or for fall walks now that the weather has FINALLY cooled off! Let us know if you decide you'd like to bring one of these babies home!
